India vs Bangladesh final is no surprise. It is a refreshing change from the last so many Asia Cups, where the final has been India vs Sri Lanka. All the best to Bangladesh hoping they pull off a historic victory.

Will the way the teams perform in this, have any bearing on the T20 works cup.performances?
Not to be too disrespectful of the Asia cup, it's a million miles away from performing in front of a world cup.audience for a start, and while I'll still wish all the best to Bangladesh, I'm not sure that because of this I'd claim they are a dark horse to win the world cup.

Nice consolation win for Pakistan but they have got to take a hard look at their team. The batting did well today but is very inconsistent and is not performing well under pressure. And the bowling seems to be spearheaded by just one guy Mohammad Amir, although Mohammad Irfan did well today. Not really one of the top contenders for World T20 but could spring a surprise or two.

My two biggest takeaways from this years Asia Cup: Firstly, outside of India, the current crop of subcontinent T20 teams are rather weak. Secondly, I wish all T20 pitches were as good as the ones prepared throughout this tournament (and the Under-19 World Cup also). Full credit to Bangladesh, they produced pitches that had something in it for the batsman, seamers and spinners. It made for a refreshing change for the bowlers to actually impact the outcome of the matches instead of the usual 180+ slog fests we have grown accustomed to.

Well, you can see the whole tournament was an low scoring one although that will be a discussion for another matter.
I think India is at their best and it is inevitable they are the favorites in the upcoming tournament. And finally India found a good bowling combination. This will be a team to look out.
