Even as a South African supporter I have to feel a bit sorry for Joe Root, scoring two consecutive hundreds and finishing on the losing side both times.
From a SA perspective I think this game may be important in terms of team selection going forward. It showed what can be done when you pick bowlers who can bat, something we've been lacking for quite a while now. I really miss the luxury of having Kallis, Klusener and Pollock in the team.

Yes, that was a big moment that would have surely ended the match. When trying to defend a smaller total, you can't afford three dropped catches.
England's middle order failed to show up, but the bowlers showed some good fight to put them in a position to try and eek out an unlikely win.
Hats off to South Africa and Chris Morris. This has been a great series and I think it is only fitting we get a deciding fifth match.

What an absolute cracker of a match!! I was expecting England to win easily after South Africa collapsed to 210-8, but Chris Morris was an absolute beast. Looks like becoming a millionaire in the IPL auctions really rejuvenated him, and now he is ready to take on the world. He is a great buy for the team who bought him.

England shot themselves in the foot there in my opinion and had that match sewn up. I'm not saying that south Africa didn't deserve to win, but I think it was more to do with England throwing it away with a combination of poor fielding and shocking bowling at the end.
