The bowling has been fantastic for the first 30 overs. Pakistan have recovered a little, but still in a hole at 86/5 (30 ov). Alzarri Joseph has once again impressed. He bowls at great pace and gets the ball to nip and seam.

Fifty partnership is up and Pakistan are fighting their way back into this. West Indies really need to break this partnership up. To his credit, Hetmyer has tried everything at his disposal from going back to his two main strike bowlers (Joseph and Holder) and introducing spin.
At 57/5, Pakistan would have happily taken 150. Now they will surely have their sights set on 190. Pakistan 108/5 (34 ov).

This is now potentially a match winning partnership between these two at the crease. With 9 overs to go, Pakistan have clawed there way up to 148/5. 230 should be a very realistic target now.
Full credit to Pakistan, they have done what England could not do yesterday when they lost wickets early against Sri Lanka. Pakistan have rotated the strike well and instead of looking to go too big, too soon, they have been content with building the score.

Masood is out in the final, though he has completely turned this match on its head. West Indies will have to bat very well to chase down 228 to win this.

Congrats to the West Indies! That is a really good victory for them and they must be happy that they have great upcoming talent. It was not a big total to chase but still it's good to see they went about it positively and got there in just 40 overs. Umair Masood must be feeling disappointed after his century ended in a losing cause, but the other batsmen simply didn't support him enough and 227 was a poor score, even though they did well to reach there after being down at 57-5. Alzari Joseph was again impressive and I am hoping to see more of him in international cricket.
