because it was a prerequisite to play the MCL  (ONLY retired players allowed)  :P

Fidel Edwards sent his as well . For him as a Kolpak player for Hants ,

he cannot play for Barbados......correct ,dillinger ??

I believe that Fidel is still able to play for Barbados although he may have to apply to participate as an overseas player. He did play for St. Lucia in the CPL last year, but may need to apply as an overseas player for regional tournaments. However, as a kolpak signing, he is no longer able to play for West Indies. So his resignation was more of a formality.

Hope he will be a batting coach for the WI Team, as indiscipline and a lack of concentration is why they cannot score runs
