The highest successful chase is 99 in Galle. The pitch had slowed down and they lost it all in a flurry.
From the possibility of losing by an innings to winning this Test match,SL were impressive.
Perfect farewell for Sanga.

So, that happened then. What a remarkable turn around by Sri Lanka to pull a rabbit out of the hat. Brilliant from Chandimal to set a tricky target, and then Herath did the rest. Given the strong position India were in, this will hurt doubly - this was just the second time they have lost a Test match when chasing a target under 200.
Herath moves ahead of Bishan Bedi as the third highest wicket taker in Test cricket by a left-arm spinner. Of all left-arm spinners to have taken at least 50 wickets, Herath has the sixth lowest strike rate, and second lowest post World War 2.

They were in the driver's seat..Two days to go Just 180 to chase.Of course the pitch was a b****
but honestly it hurts to lose from a position of Strength.
Credits to Lankans though, with a hard heart had to tell this. :'(
