He retired from Test cricket last year and many thought it was too soon but Dwayne Bravo is likely to make an about turn and make himself available for Test cricket again.
Sources close to the all-rounder said he is showing an interest into coming back into Test cricket under the new coach Phil Simmons. “Dwayne made a call on his Test career at a difficult time but has since realised that there is still a place in Test cricket for him and under the new coach, he is likely to make a turn and make himself available.â€

I would not pick Bravo in the WI test side.
His bowling at test level is not particularly good. I just do not see him as a decent 5th bowler, strike bowler etc
His batting is half decent but his test average is still barely above 30.
I really do not see who Bravo would play in place of.

Honestly players need to be true to their loyalties and beliefs and if this report is true ... I find this 'shilly-shallying' to be shocking !!
Bravo previously publicly stated his priorities re cricket and now 'show pony' says he wants to come back in 'whites' ? He allegedly cost WICB $42M and denied the Test team !!
Does this 'renewed interest' have anything to do with the new Coach being his 'countryman' ? Says a lot ...while WICB is to blame for a lot of our cricketing woes ... this sort of player attitude simply is a reflection of the nonsense that is the WICB.
If Bravo is serious ..... he needs to earn his way back into the side but we all know his priorities even if he does ... when IPL beckons ... It all seems so very shallow ::yawn::

by TRINIDADDY
Ketchim is alluding to the well known fact that Trinidadians are clowns, drama-queens, and will say any ole crap if it causes mayhem. Your average Trinidadian derives pleasure from confusion, exaggeration, lies or instigating or exasperating rediculous situations.
Even highly qualified and/or respectable Trinidadians, like the doctor who killed Michael Jackson, will risk a manslaughter charge for a good laugh.
These personality traits are largely why the CIA left Trinidad alone, but not the other islands; nothing the Trinis said proved to be reliable information.
Trini farmers would even leak info to the CIA, lying about buried guns or drugs, just to watch the CIA digging up their land before planting season (free labour, no tractor rentals, and lots of laughs!).
A full Trini is a frustrating thing. And the more serious a situation, the more Trininess the Trini will exhibit. In fact, the clownishness of a Trini is directly proportional to the gravity of the situation in which the Trini finds him/herself. A drowning Trini, for example, is one of the most rediculous and confusing sights in the animal kingdom.

Some folks seem to think that once Bravo says he is available he is an automatic pick for the test team.
I just do not see how Bravo makes the current team. His bowling is not good enough.
