I've not been able to find any confirmation as to whether McCullum will skipper the team for the Test's or not. The only confirmation I was able to find is that BJ Watling will captain the team for their two warm up matches. You would think that McCullum would take back the reigns once he returns from the IPL.

Second that, they have the grit, that is inbuilt in them, and its been there every since they started playing cricket.
Even if Bmac is absent they can get someone or the other explosive at the top. They just seem to fire on all guns.

I already posted New Zealand's record away from home in this thread. Goog's is right, New Zealand struggle away from home.
Going back to the start of 2012, away from home, New Zealand have won 2 Test series, lost 3 and drawn 3. New Zealand haven't won a Test series in England since 1999. In 16 series in England, New Zealand have won 2 series, lost 13 and drawn 1.

Thanks, Cally. It would have been surprising if McCullum didn't skipper the side even when factoring in being away from the team during the buildup.

Well with the current form of both team s I don't see England beating New Zealand anytime this year. England are just as bad as the West Indies except that their cricket board board and media loves to think otherwise.
