* Thanks!
* Listen! As Shiv's supporters, we now have to lower our expectations. Instead of expecting a fifty or hundred from Shiv when he walks to the wicket we must hope for a 20.
* The way I see it Shiv has a maximum of 7 innings to play in tests---1 more in this Grenada test, 2 in the Barbados test and hopefully 4 innings in the 2 tests against Australia in June.
* Now! Let's assume Shiv only bats in 6 more innings. If he can poke around and score 20 runs per innings that would be 120 runs.
* Doing the math---11835 + 120 == 11,955

;D
* There you have it---the highest run scorer by a West Indian.
* Another thing---if Shiv scores those 120 runs in the 6 innings(11,955 total)----he'll end his career averaging 51.08----that is statistical greatness folks.

Ketchy:
* You are dead right about Shiv's "warrior personality".
* Check out that 50 Shiv made in his last innings in South Africa against a hostile Steyn and company----Shiv looked solid as a rock in that innings.
* Another thing---Shiv is getting out playing careless shots----but while at the wicket he looks solid.

Just because someone faltered in the last "some odd" innings you can put them out of that league,for nstance kallis,tendulkar and ponting.

Googs:
* I have been following Shiv's career since he was 19 years old----from 1994 to today.
* I must say Shiv has exceeded all my expectations.
* As of today Shiv has scored 11835 runs at an average of 51.90 with 30 hundreds and 66 fifties. Those are great numbers.
* Shiv only needs 119 runs to become the highest runs scorer by a West Indian in tests.
* I am still rooting for Shiv to accomplish that feat.
