Both teams observed a minute's silence before the start of the mornings play. Both teams wearing black armbands and the New Zealand team have the initials P.H written on their shirts.

Stumps , day 3 !
Brendon McCullum made this statement :
"On behalf of the BLACKCAPS I want to make the following statement. Our focus at the moment is not on our performances, it is all about Phil. We are heartbroken for Phil's family, Greg, Virginia, Megan and Jason. No one should go through what you guys are going through right now. We are reaching out to Phil's family, Michael Clarke and the Australian boys, medical staff, fans, all who have been affected by Phil's passing. We are also reaching out to Sean Abbott. You are all in our thoughts, our hearts and in Phil's case, our memories. Cricket is a sport, but the cricket community is a family. We are here for you, we are thinking of you."

New Zealand finally all out for 690, their highest Test total. Six batsman scored fifties. Pakistan have already lost one wicket in reply as they are 16/1 and trail by 323 runs.

Sadly not much fight is to be seen from Pakistan in their second innings as well, they are 147-7 at tea on day 4.
Great match from New Zealand, and a poor end to a great home season tests for Pakistan.
Batting collapse in both the innings of the last test has really banged down the moral of the batsman once again I think, hope they can turn it around in the ODIs to come. New Zealand must be on a high now.

[color=rgb(41, 47, 51)]Pakistan has had a good winter and one loss shouldn't bother the fans.

Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.
