Samuels..?? I would say it was both russel and sammy..
One tried a big heave that was unneccesary and the other beaten.
they were just 65 runs short then and a full 8 overs to go,they needed just some calc risks.

65 in 8 overs isn't easy.
Samuels should have been taking singles. He put big pressure on batsmen who had no time to settle in.

He may have scored a majestic ton last ODI but there is a reason why after almost 160 ODIs, he averages mid 30s.This was the first ODI Windies played for arond 20 years that I sat and tried to watch all of it. I was impressed with the bowling and fielding generally and the application when batting was brilliant.I felt they understood all they had to do was tick over, rotate the strike around 5 rpo and it will be done. Then Samuels came in and then Sammy and the game was over.I am still unsure why Sammyn is n this team.He has to make way for Holder and if Russell, no cricketing brain, fails in the next game, get Blackwood in.Windies gifts this game to India.
