I recall when the Football premiership was being rebranded I, like many others, though what a waste of time.

Now look at what it has become and has been a great success for a very long time.

The rebranding created a lot of interest, cleaned up the game  quite a lot etc. Of course there are some down sides as is the case with most things.

I think the idea is good but it is up to the franchise administrations to take advantage of this opportunity.

In this case LIs and Guyana the worse performing team in the 4 day competition, particularly LIs, have not taken an opportunity.

It will take some time to bed in but I do not expect the better performing teams to really draft in players from other franchises and that is reasonable.
