Ravi is not a man to hold down a batting side but to out them. at times it costs but he gets his wickets.

Holder is not very good. I have said dat umteen times. it is either he increases his pace and quality of bowling or develop his batting. he is no Ambrose, Charminder, Khan or McGrath. he is a very ordinary bowler at this stage, far from good enough..and he is not improving fast enough. he is almost 22..or 22 already..involved at the top of the game since he was 19 for little advance.
that reality exposes a non-talent. he does not have it. he displayed potential early but its not really there. west indies have been right to focus on Gabriel at the test level. Gabriel has displayed more of everything than Holder...pace, wicket taking ability that hopefully only for the moment has deserted him. hopefully it comes back
Gibson is the one who picked Holder out from among the youth and invested in him dissing in the process Delorn Johnson from the Windys who should have been the choice instead. But I don't see that Gibson ever did anything positive for west indies fast bowling except destroy it with a total focus on the worse we had. Gibson always selected the worse in the fast bowling and persisted with it, dissing the youth who showed real promise completely
to my way of thinking Holder is a perfect example of Gibson incompetence and bad minded-ness. Holder never appeared to me as good enough and I have been saying that all along. I focus on the one avenue in which Holder can make his way in west indies cricket... his batting.
Holder has displayed some batting ability that looks far more promising than his bowling. west indies desperately need quality batting at every position in the order. if Holder becomes a class batsman he is in..a position for him assured. but he wont get far as a bowler. as a bowler he is toast

and Carter......? enigmatic. he just blasted a ton and comes down to the clutch he cant deliver..no matter the gift of a ball he gets. another waste of space >
