You are right about his numbers but there was something about him, for me, when he walked in. Kalli had a similar effect except he was touch and class, SFAF seemed to ne then brutal.
He looked, strong, upright, and his bat,which looked wider than most for some reason, came through so straight.
In those days Guyana did churn out really good players. Some of the name that roll off my tongue are Etwaroo (think Romain), Steve Camacho, Len B, Kalli, lloyd, Kamhai, Ramnarace, Pydanna (a name I quite like for some strange reason Milton I believe) Gibbs etc.....
