* You noticed how Shiv used his feet in that 101* against Bangladesh ?
* Early in his career Shiv used his feet very effectively against spinners, but then he got lazy and started poking from the crease.
* Hope he uses his feet against Ashwin and Jadeja in the coming series against India. He can make a double in India if he does. ;D
* Great players of spin bowling always use their feet when the ball is given the slightest of air---Lara was the best player of spin I ever saw.

Well if good old Jesus could walk on water, then surely Lord Shiva could do the same.

No way Shiv should retire, while he can still entertain us. Its always a plus when he reaches those achievements, but the best part is to feel that confidence in a match when he is around. Whenever I watch a match, even if he doesn't score a hundred, its always a thrill to see him play.

* I have been watching Shiv since he debuted back in 1994 as a skinny 19 year old.
* It has been a joy following his career and seeing the great success he has achieved.
* Whether Shiv makes 1 or 101 it's always good seeing him at the wicket, and that is the way Shiv's supporters feel about him, they like to see him bat and bat.

Since Otis Gibson was fired as head coach Shiv has not been dismissed in test cricket(85*, 84*, 101*). Shiv is surely happy Otis is gone. It shows in his production.

* Shiv(158 tests) now has his eyes set on that man's record---200 TESTS.
* Shiv is also hoping and praying that he would be recalled to the WI one day squad. Otis is the one who dropped him 3 years ago. But with greats like Kirk Edwards, Lendl Simmons, Darren Bravo, Kieron Pollard, etc, etc, Shiv doesn't stand a chance. I am being grossly sarcastic. None of those clowns can bat like Shiv.
