I feel Fredericks is overrated, despite 3 or 4 classic knocks.
You might as well play some past WI great who averages in the 50s as an opener; no need to select past WI openers.
Nobody has suggested any frontline spinners.

No, Gayle is not as good. The competition was much stiffer during the era when Haynes, Greenidge,freddo played

Haynes still have more centuries in less matches than Gayle, Ketchim.
Regardless, Haynes, Gayle, Greenidge and Fredricks pretty much average the same as openers, with Greenidge being the best of the lot.
Paint might - hopefully - surpass them all in terms of averages, though I have a sweet spot for the more aggressive style of Gayle and Greenidge.
Best WI keeper? Ramdin over take Dujon yet?
