from outside off and set off for a single too, but his right heel touched the base of the off stump

and he has to walk back. :-[

What a great match, Australia minus Clarke, put up a better score than their last outing, with great batting from Huges and Marsh. South Africa almost seemed to put a fight with very impressive batting from du Plessis, who made a 126, the only century in the match. But what should have been a nail biter ended abruptly for the South Africans with a consistent fall of wickets.

Du plessis was the lone man standing amidst ruins and it was unluck that SA didn't end up on the winning side.Harsh for a player that his efforts were in vain.
