Poacher becomes gamekeeper syndrome!
Must be difficult to hear these comments from a friend but Cooky needs to focus on his cricket.

Well now there's no other choice either way but to include him - you can't just pick a random captain out of the blue IMO. I mean you can, but it's a massive gamble.
So yes, would include him in the XI every match in the world cup now.

Look at how much that reprieve in that test has cost the Indian team.He has been top notch and commands a place in the team now.
If he still was out of form by now,i would have given the mantle to Bell.He seems a perfect skipper for the team.or any choice..any second thought..?

Broad is the current T20 captain and skippered the ODI team 3 times in 2014. The debates about Cook's defensive captaincy are well documented and his current ODI form is nothing to write home about. From August 27, 2013 to August 27, 2014, Cook has played in 11 International ODIs, he has scored 305 runs with a high score of 56 and an average of 30.50. If you take out his 44 that he scored against Scotland, his numbers look even worse; 10 innings, 261 runs and an average of 26.10.
