Ali to Dhawan,  good length ball sneaking on with the angle.

They are up for the pad first as Dhawan prodded forward to block.

It did hit the pad first and then took the inside edge, but was it adjacent, and would it have hit?

Yes, says Hawk Eye. Lots of doubt there and Erasmus went with the batsman !

Root to Dhawan, OUT, gives this some air, grips, takes the edge - gottim!

Root  produced a  beaut, perfect offspinner to the left-hander who pushes at it,

takes a big, crowd-pleasing chunk of bat and loops to Jordan at Slip.
