No,it is the other way round.They did not blame him.It was he who pronounced himself fit,despite having an injury.he was not even good behind the stumps,missing a stumping chance and dropping as many as 3 catches.
Oh and you mean to say,they shouldn't blame,even if they do it is right.He is a veteran of 79 tests and he should know how to build a partnership.Root and Ali had built a solid partnership and unlucky Ali got out.Prior should have stepped rather than frittering away a start.It sparked a collapse due to which England lost.
