Alastair Cook, England's beleaguered captain, reiterated his desire to stay in the job after defeat to India at Lord's extended the team's winless run to ten matches. Cook, who received vocal support from the crowd as he spoke at the post-match presentations, said he was "desperate to turn things around", as well as giving his backing to Matt Prior as "the best wicketkeeper-batsman in the country" after another difficult Test.

I notice Cook did not say best wicket-keeper.
It's the old argument about whether you pick your best keeper or the best keeper who can also bat.

England must be wondering what to do.
They begged for a pitch with grass on it.
They got their wish.
They won the toss.
And the Indian pacers outbowled their English counterparts. Not to mention Jadeja lashing them all over the place.

The hyenas and buzzards should be out in full force - England got everything they asked for in this test and failed miserably.
