Shiv is currently on 50* versus Gloucestershire. The big question is can Shiv convert this fifty and reach his 70th hundred in first class cricket. He fell short in his last innings when he scored 92 against Essex.

* By the way, the esteemed Chairman has been doing a wonderful job keeping us up to date on cricket around the world.
* But Chairman has been slacking up when it comes to posting updates on the great man. ;D
* Actually chairman did post an article on Shiv being the highest ranked West Indian on the ICC rankings.
* Maybe Chairman missed the Tiger's fifty today---or he is waiting for the Tiger to finally convert.

* He blocked and poked too much.
* He started the final day on 62*----and as lunch approached he had poked his way to only 92----and then got out trying to hurry things up before lunch.
* Shiv is waaaaaay overdue for his 2nd hundred for Derbyshire.

Chairman, like most WI fans has high expectations from the Tiger. 50 plus (and not out) is too common with him. ::LOL:: ::LOL::

* There are quite a few jealous and envious souls in the Caribbean who cannot stomach the Tiger becoming the highest test scorer in the history of West Indies cricket.
* Had that nasty scoundrel Otis Gibson not dropped the Tiger from onedayers he would also have been the highest WI scorer in onedayers.
* Oh well, hope the Tiger plays another 2 or 3 years in tests.
* Like Sachin, the Tiger is quite aware of his stats----he has a number in mind----and it's not 12,000----it's more than that----plus a 50+ test average.

If the Tiger plays like how he did against NZ, it will be a tough road ahead for him.
1. They might drop him faster than hot potatoes.
2. He might not maintain that 50 avg and ended up Ordinary numbers like his beloved coach! ::LOL::

Googs:
* Surely you are not numerically challenged.
* If the Tiger keeps averaging in the high 40s like he did against NZ---he averaged 48.75----he will be OK.
*
Regarding his 51.88 test average----even if the Tiger averages 25 in his next 8 tests----he will still maintain a 50.05 test average.
* Now, if he were to average 25 in his next 8 tests---then he would have to retire.
*
Anyway, The only way the Tiger's upcoming series average will fall into the 20s is if he plays blindfolded
.
