Check out Sunil Philip Narine's bowling stats against New Zealand:
Narine: 181-53-438-18
* 18 wickets in 3 tests.
* Two 5 wkt haul
* But Sunil Philip Narine was not deemed important to play in the current series.
* The WICB could have cut Sunil Philip Narine some slack.
* BUT THEY CHOSE TO BE SPITEFUL.
* Now the WI are praying for rain to save them in the 3rd test.

no one has ever accused WICB, Opiss and butts to have used their brains!
if Brains can be sold, these chaps brains would draw a premium...since they have been "unused"

* The WICB treated Sunil Philip Narine like a step child.
* They pompously omitted him from the entire test series.
* KARMA NEVER FORGETS A WRONG.
* The WICB did Sunil Philip Narine wrong---and Karma repaid the WICB with interest----the WI lost the series.
* You folks saw how off spinner Craig take 3/84 in the WI 2nd innings---including the vital wicket of Chanderpaul.
* Sunil Philip Narine would have done well bowling in the NZ 2nd innings.
* But he was dropped for the entire series.
* KARMA THEN B!TCHED SLAPPED THE WICB.
* NZ won 2-1

Sunil Narine deserved to be left out of the current test squad because money is more important than West Indies cricket. He was invited to the squad but chose to remain in India and play IPL. No player is bigger than the team and I would prefer to have a team with loyal and dedicated players than one where some players feel like they are bigger than the team. If Narine was concerned about West Indies cricket then he would have chosen them over the ipl. Look at all the other international players who left ip early to represent their country.

^FML son. I think I'll have to state the obvious the gazillionth time.
First of all, WICB gave him NOC to go and play IPL. They shouldn't have had they thought it'd have been a problem.
Second of all, they pay him too - should he just take the money and slag them off?
There was absolutely no conflict. The IPL was over before the tests. It was just based on some irrational nonsensical principle that they made him sit out for the WHOLE series.

Failed organizations like the WICB treat their workers like shyt and pride themselves in being dictatorial and inflexible.
Surely the WICB could have cut Sunil Philip Narine some slack.
But they wanted to show who's the boss and dropped him for the entire series.
It's OK to be inflexible when it come to important principles---but what important WICB principle did Sunil Philip Narine break---all he asked for was an extra 2 days so that he could play in his team's IPL finals.

that is pure BS!!!!!!
First of all he was playing in the IPL with the WICB's blessing!
Second, Narine was completing his contacted time in the IPL!
Thirs, are the WICB morons to ever think that Narine's team will not go to the Final when they approved him the IPL contract? Or did they expect that the team will be knocked out and Narine will be back in time for the NZ tour?
Btw - he could have made it back in time for the 1st test even after the IPL final!! But they said he did not spend time tp gel with the team. Bullshit!
Did Blackwood who was called in for the 2nd test spend any time with the team during preparation?
