Cook should quit as captain - Warne
England captain Alastair Cook should step down from the role, according to former Australia spinner Shane Warne.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

No..WHy don' you guys see the other side of this loss.I am not praising cook for what he has done, but everyone faces a failure sometime or the other. He lost the Ashes first and now this 1-0,which makes it 6 losses in 8.There have been better failure cases than these and they have bounced back stronger.Let us give him a longer rope and see what he can do.

I do not think he should step down but he is not showing signs of learning and is proving a poor captain.
I have been backing Ramdin for years but now he is there he is making the same mistakes of the second test after which he conceded his flaws.
Similarly Cook does not attack, he does not think outside the box and is proving a captaincy liability.
However Cook hits form and all is forgotten as if he does well at the top the team will do well and the pressure is back on the opposition.
New batsman, whether upper. middle or lower order attack when they first get in and reassess.
Let us see how Cooky does against the Indians.
Best of luck pal.

I think Cook should quit to be honest.
Hasnt exactly saved a struggling England team and believe they should get a new man in and get him to try and turn the tide for the team which used to be number one for a long time.

skook is no dam good as leader and captain. he is gutless, deceitful and traitorous.
both he and Flowers saved themselves on the carcass of Kevin Pietersen whom they sold down the rive in blame for the ashes cutarse. that alone exposes skook skunt as useless
but I dont care. may england keep him captain forever..and loose forever, that wud be a good west indian result as far as I see

Quote from MAPPIPPEE,
Gutless, spineless, out of form are opinions based in some fact.
However in what way has he been deceitful and traitorous?
If you are going to bring Pietersen into to, as I am sure you are, we do not know what went on and the fact no one in the team and management, including Bell and Gilo, had no support for Kevin says something.
Pietersen has long created problems far and above what you would allow from a genius player. Texting his fellow Saffers, during a series etc.

wat I saw is that England lost ignominiously in Oz and all of a sudden Pietersen became the cancer in the dressing room responsible for it all.
all of a sudden flowers and Skook were down on Kevin totally...and most of the players especially wats his name the afro opener says no! not so! 'it wasnt Kevin. I am shocked!' {Carberry}
Pietersen from all the circumstantial evidence clearly was scape-goated by Skook and Flowers in particular. Prior appears to have sold his soul for his wicket-keeping position by supporting the top 2. they will drop his skunt just now anyway. he is not up to it behind the stumps. and he scores when everyone else does not when the runs are needed
that is why skook is deceitful and traitorous. he and Flowers slew the Kevin peaceful, brilliant dragon because he was defenceless and exposed due to his penchant to fight for what he believes in. the wanted to kill him anyway. they made him responsible for their failure and so got away with their job as captain..and promotion to an inside office for the Marigold
and same way Kevin gorne and Prior stays..so too is Carberry gorn. too migh a mouth..too may words flow out that shud be kept in to save a career

No rasta. You have forgotten that Pietersen was previously omitted and then reintegrated in the team. You have to draw the line but your venom dished out at Cook is quite pathetic.
Yes he may be a crap Captan but watch my lips, no one supported Kevin.....no one.
