QUESTION:
*
How many of you until today knew that only 1 batsman in history has scored 6000+ runs in tests both HOME and AWAY ?
* Shiv needs 215 runs at HOME and 512 runs AWAY to become the 2nd batsman in history to score 6000+ runs HOME and AWAY.
* Now you folks know why West Indians are deeply frustrated that Shiv refuses to retire.
*
Hopefully Shiv will keep playing and producing for another 5 years.
hahahaha

I concur Tiger has been a great servant. We are on the same page so stop getting all anal about questioning anything to do with Shiv. Really guys?
But my question is, is his poor judgements signalling the end for him?
His departure will leave a massive gap but cricket will continue as did when Vivian and Lara departed the scene.
I am so surprised and disappointed with this leave alone which was so easy to play even from a. Half push forward and even if he had missed he would have been hit outside playing a shot.

If Shiv is exhibiting "poor judgment" and at the same time averaging 68.50 in his last 5 tests---then Shiv fans should hope that he continues to exhibit "poor judgment". hahahaha
* Listen! Many Shiv fans were pi$$ed when Shiv got dismissed LBW twice in a row to the same bowler using his pads instead of his bat----that 47 in Trinidad should have been a hundred.
* But Shiv's fans cannot be disappointed with his 77.50 average in the 2 tests so far.
* Anyway, hope Shiv atones in the Barbados test and score his 5th hundred at that venue----that would be the most test hundreds by any batsman at Kensington Oval.

* The best thing that ever happened to Shiv was getting dropped from the WI ODI and T20s teams.
* The man is now hungrier than ever in tests.
* I don't see any sign of Shiv slowing down.
* His only flaw right now is that bad habit of his----stick his damn pads out to block the ball----the umps should send him packing every time he does that shyt.
* But other than that---Shiv is as solid as ever.
* Hope Shiv plays and keeps performing for another 3-5 years.

DID YOU SEE 45 YEAR OLD BRIAN LARA PLAYING AT LORDS LAST SUNDAY ?
* If Lara were to put on the WI uniform---even at age 45 he'd still be scoring runs.
*
Shiv is pushing 40 and is more fit today than he was at age 30.
* At age 50 Shiv would still be playing test cricket if he so desired.

I have had no objective answers.
Before I said I hope Tiger carries on for another ten years but he is flagging.
That is normal, it is not an attack on a man I too admire.
I hate the fact this forum does not allow criticisms of Tiger.
In fact I think you demonise Shiv as a selfish bastard !

RAHUL DRAVID DID NOT SCORE 6000 RUNS AT HOME
* Dravid scored 5598 runs at HOME.
* Actually, only 1 Indian batsman has scored 6000+ runs at HOME.
