* Roach's 13 wickets in 6 innings = 2.16 wkts per innings
* Benn's 12 wickets in 6 innings = 2.0 wkts per innings
QUESTION:
*
Did you know that if a bowler averages 2 wkts per innings over his entire test career that bowler would have had a great career ?
* Check the wkt per innings stats of the top 6 wicket takers in WI history: Walsh, Ambrose, Marshall, Gibbs, Garner and Holding
Click on the link for bowling stats:
stats.espncricinfo.com/ci/engine/stats/i...results;type=bowling
EXAMPLE:
* Walsh took 519 wickets in 242 innings----> 2.14 wkts per innings
RE: ROACH & BENN ---in their careers to date
* Roach has taken 92 wickets in 46 innings----2.0 wkts per innings
* Benn has taken 60 wkts in 30 innings
2.0 wkts per innings

Rain is likely over the next five days, but if forecasts are to be believed the weather will
not disrupt the Test too much.
It is the pitch the teams will be keeping a careful eye on.
"Kensington always has a little bit in it for the bowlers as well," ..Ottis Gibson,
New Zealand will not mind that either. ::LOL::
