but the thing is Mendonza was heavily mixed ethnically too.
wat I see in him is Potogee..Buck and Afro..he appeared to have been dark skinned but his hair is nothing short of white. he has aquiline features as well.
same with Deryck Murray in whom the Indo is strong.
so it wasnt race between dem 2 fellas but class and power. and where they were born. Meodonza would not be considered racially inferior in the west indies but Lance Murray wasnt his father and from Guyana did not help in his instance or case
Lance Murray was Deryck's father. that always counted decisively in his favour. in fact Deryck owes his career to his father. he had talent Deryk did. and he could fight hard, hard..tuff player.
but as keepers Findlay, Desmond Lewis, Hendricks, Mendonza, Alexander, david Allan..were all better than he was
