Off spinner Sunil Narine has advised the West Indies Cricket Board that he has opted to remain

in India to participate in the final of the Indian Premier League and consequently will not join

the West Indies Training Camp in preparation for the Test Series against New Zealand

by June 1st as is required by the WICB. -

Sunil Narine is not going anywhere, say the Kolkata Knight Riders.

"He will play the final. That's it," they assert.

Narine is handed a whip by the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) to return home

before June 1 :

if he were to qualify for the West Indies' first Test against New Zealand.

Good on him !!!! 

Yeah makes sense too. I mean this is one of the major sources of income for him and even otherwise you can't just ditch them in the finals! Narine made the right choice IMO


Anywho, KXIP vs KKR played alread several time right? Would be interesting. KKR is stronger when it comes to bowling, and KXIP is more explosive when it comes to batting. Would be an interesting contest.
