Carberry is definitely better off (like Root) in Tests. And perhaps ODIs too. T20s - I would go for lumb and so on.

Carberry can play in all formats as he came to attention for his aggressive batting, in fact in all formats.
I am happy Moores has given him another chance and I would not read too much into a wham bam T20 hit fest.
Yes it would have been great to see him get some runs but I am looking forward to the ODIs as it tells us more.
Root does not look a T20 man but I am happy the are trying him in all formats.
I was very disappointed, Bell looked like a fish out of water and for such an experienced player, I would have expected more calm.
You want your team to win every match they play, irrespective of format, but I would not lose too much sleep over this one.
Disappointed Moeen was not in there. What he needs to do when playing is carry on from his 40s, 50s to the big one so his name is amongst the first on the team sheet.
Come on you England.
