Well does it matter though? I mean it's sports and he took a better opportunity when he saw one. County cricket is good steady income - at least speaking in relative terms. I mean isn't that understandable?
I can see how it affects countries like Ireland and Netherland (Morgs, Nannes et. al) - but I don't think it's really that big deal here, is it?

Also - hypothetically, if Nash wanted to return to playing WI cricket, would he be eligible to do so rightaway? Or would he have to wait and play FC cricket like Ronchi did?

Kylester,
Someone may wish to confirm but if my memory serves me right, one always had to play in the local tournaments to qualify to play Internationals unless given special dispensation or the hosen one in the case of Sammy.
However the issue for me is his alleged loyalty to the region but on the first dropping he is off unless someone can tell us he is still living in Jamaica an contributing to their cricket. Bonkers this is.
Tis sort of 'Passport Convenience Tourism' is abhorrent.
