Viv Richards is till a hero of mine too, but this was a very suspect piece of cricket.

but cricket was never a glorious game to me as the english used to write about it, sweeping all the nastiness under a rug.

mis info shud have let dat dog lie in bringing up the incident.  they shud have handled it historically and ignored the racist angle and post a picture of Viv in keeping with such an approach

I am concerned with the Williamson article and its presentation by mis info....

that is worse than Richards behaviour at the ARG.  that is not only racist but establishes that at least Williamson..if not the english.. is still smarting about that decision more than twenty years later.  Williamson is so hurt he cant let it go and mis info provides an open platform for Williamson to spew.

look here!  I was a child then but those around me were furious.  when I came to understand I too was furious.  but when I refer to that it is not in the same form as Williamson.  as time passes things become historical and is properly handled lest it become a problem.
