Should Virat Kohli take over as India's Test skipper?

I agree, Kholi has proven his worth and merits a test spot beyond doubt at 25 having player 24 tests averaging around 47 is excellent and importantly he has shown he travels well, good sign for an Indian.


His worth versus his readiness for captaincy are quite different things. I do think he has the potential for being captain but I see no rush for him. Far too often we have seen brilliant young players pushed into the captaincy resulting in their decline.
That may not apply to Kholi but Dhoni is doing well for now although he was a bit gaumless in his last outing.
