not only was smith silly but Clarke was really sharp,  he understood the game to the hilt.

as soon as his man was out and no ton he declared and went to work.

SA is in worse shape that I thought.  the way they lost here suggests they have experienced a rapid decline since last time.  maybe the Smith regime has aged, aged, declined...was declining even while winning... SA played listless, in need of energy, a new start

they were not the best side in this match.  despite Johnson they played poorly

I now have a reason to watch this series.....
