That's right folks! The 5 P's Clearly explain the mediocrity of West Indies players and West Indies cricket.





* There is only one player in the current West Indies team who is dead serious about his preparation and practices perfectly.

* That player has played in 153 tests---he has scored 11,219 runs at an average of 51.93 with 29 100s and 62 50s.

* He has also scored 8878 runs in onedayers at an average of 41.60 with 11 100s and 59 50s.

* But he has been discarded from the WI oneday team and the nasty stinking coach and selectors are dying to drop him from the test team.

* I just hope Shiv maintains his high standard and keeps playing another 5 years.

* WI fans like Ramesh who are mediocre in their own lives and root for mediocrity---they will remain mentally tortured by the great man.

* Shiv must not retire until he overtakes Sachin or is firmly ensconced in the #2 position in terms of runs scored in tests.
