I think that when he made this comment he was just looking at the immediate news that is happening right now, that being the IPL auction, so that's why he made this comment. It doesn't necessarily say that he values his national side any less.

I think it most definitely does, given his so called allegiance from some time back.

He could've just said "What an innings !!! ... IPL teams will be very interested". 

Not that nonsense that "I'll be putting in a good word for you with my franchise etc." ............. totally out of order !!! >:(

Honestly I wish Bravo/Sammy and Ottiss would just shut up and stop 'talking de talk' before and during a series and just quietly go about their business and 'walk de walk'

This must be the worst team ever ..... selectors on their 'free vacation to NZ' must be the worst ever too :-[
