The truth is 39 year old Shiv is finally slowing down---he is aging.


In the past 7 years---since Jan 2007---Shiv has been outstanding----he has averaged over 70 in 48 tests.

But Shiv averaged only 38 in 15 matches for Derbyshire with only 1 hundred----that was a RED FLAG---in previous years Shiv dominated in county cricket---but in 2013 he was ordinary.

Shiv is a fighter and will continue to give 100%----but I am starting to feel he will not make it to 11,954----he will definitely get to 11,000----but right now----11,954 seems very distant.

HOPE I AM DEAD WRONG.

and will either be the 9th man out OR remain not out !
