Whatever happens today, and whilst I appreciate this is T20, I feel justified in promoting Ramdin as West Indies captain for a couple of years now.

It is the way he has been calm and most importantly the use, rotation, his confidence and backing of his bowlers, even Simmons, and his astute field placings.

Ramdin will not change things overnight for the Windies but he is the best option and with Sammy out you can select your best 11, if nepotism and insularity do not get in the way.

Just hope the Force win now.......
