If course they were not slaves . They were contracted labour on the sugar plantations for 5 years after which the British were supposed to pay their return passage but as usual the British reneged on the deal. You are abroad for such a long time but you still yearn for the place of your birth and what makes you think that your forefathers di not wish to return to the motherland .? Another instance where the British lied

you missed the boat on this one. Where did the indentured live? let me tell you in the former slave quarters.
Always tell someone how you feel because opportunities are lost in the blink of an eye but regret can last a lifetime.

My friend where you live or where you were born determines nothing.
Jesus Christ was born in a stable but that does not make him a jackass . If a cat give birth on a pilla .. don't mean that the offspring are catterpilla

Yes Christ was born in a barn but elevated himself. There are many who remain jackasses.
I like the 'Catterpilla' one....nice.

MNS are a bunch of misguided idiots and while they do have support, they hardly represent the general masses.
Same goes for VHP.
Bharat is actually very commonly used and all official documents use it. India is used only for English conversations. Stupid, I know. Much rather have the entire country called Bharat because that's what it's called in every language except English.

Study some history and you will find out differently .
The Indians who came to the Westindies were pioneers in the field of out sourcing . Since the sugar plantations could not be moved to I ndia ,it was natural for the workers to move to the Westindies and hence the launching of outsourcings .
Think about it , without them there would be no Infosys or Winpro
