I would love to hear Indian music that is played by musicians untouched by Bollywood.

I found some but that was Indians playing american Jazz and blues.  hat was good but not Indian music as such.  it wasn't even fusions of Indian and american themes..just Indos playing american.

I am not talking about Indian classical music at the same time.  I know a bit of that and its fine. but regular Indo music..where is that

Indian music is now like most regular american music..CANNED!

saving-ly there is some american music that is still real even if we have to look a lil harder for it :(

Music of India
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The music of India includes multiple varieties of folk, popular, pop, classical music and R&B. India's classical music tradition, including Hindustani music and Carnatic, has a history spanning millennia and developed over several eras. Music in India began as an integral part of socio-religious life and that Indian music is essentially melodic: sounds follow one another expressing an emotional state in an aesthetic unity.[1]

I see India is into a great deal of African American music...

it is exposed in the music if Arijit Singh which is strongly jazz and blues...

what I would really like to hear is some Indian folk music..what may be considered real indian music but not classical.  is free also of Bollywood, R&B and jazz

Arijit is good however, very melodic... but not what I am looking for
