Whether category one or not, it will hit NJ & NY during high tide, the worst time for coastal communities. Good luck to all the first responders and workers involved in helping out.

This is big for the east coast. We have dodged the storm bullet so many times. Don't diminish the seriousness of this.

yo cant get upstate from broklyn without the bridges?
if you head east and north away from the storm...out of NYC... cant you get to Montpellier that way, cross at Ottawa or Montreal. those bridges should be open
you can go into vermont and maine in the north and into Canada there
