well what i have learned with forums is that you have to have good content that makes people want to come and stay

thats why every website has facebook icons. it's easier for people to discover content within facebook vs getting them to another site.

if vivek inc wants to advertise our new product, i rather direct you to facebook.com/vivekinc. get you to "like" or comment on our page. that way i didn't just expose you to the product, i got you to expose my product to all of your friends.

all for the same price of directing you to my site.


i love when a plan comes together

from my point of view as an fb member. fb is just another discussion site , with picture privildeges

i didnt mean there wasnt value in what fb provides to its members, but the members are still the product. creating a good user experience is required, or else the product pool will dwindle.

well if thats the case i will set out to create a good user experience as i will have more time to do so.

fb has loyal support because i noticed people comment on fb but not the forums themselves
