Vaccinated people are still far safer than they’ve been for most of the past year

and the unvaccinated are in even more danger

The Delta variant is, in some respects, a whole new ball game.

What rules are we playing by now?

The University Health Network (UHN), which includes
the Toronto General hospital
and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

said employees who are not vaccinated by Oct. 8
will be placed on unpaid leave for two weeks.

They will then be terminated if their vaccination status does not change

ALBERTA : A total of 2,343 people have died.

A month ago there were around 80 people with COVID-19 being treated

in Alberta hospitals.

Data showed 221 people in hospital

including 48 in intensive care units by Friday.

There were 749 new cases of the disease

6,709 active cases in the province.
