The Chief Elections Officer, Keith Lowenfield on Saturday submitted a report after 11 AM
based on the 10 declarations that were held in abeyance
and the People’s Progressive Party’s (PPP) election commissioners say they are inaccurate
and do not reflect data from the recounted votes.

Belle, NOT a single word on this "serious discussion" Thread !
Mapoui knows Beckles on this LINK

www.stabroeknews.com/2020/07/11/news/guy...n-of-recount-result/

I was named by my father after his cousin.. “HAM Beck”, as he was called, was little known in our native Barbados

but his contribution to nation building in Guyana is well respected.

In the late 1940s he fled “Bim” for “BG”.

He taught classics for near three decades at Queen’s College in Georgetown

where he also became principal.

He married an Amerindian woman

and considered himself a research authority on Hindu culture and Indian civilization.

He admired the colony’s ethnic diversity

and adopted the new nation of 1966 as his home.

This year is the 40th anniversary of the violent taking of Walter Rodney’s life.

It was forfeit because of the socially and politically integrated values he held most dear.

He was from that generation of outstanding Guyanese scholars

nurtured by HAM Beckles.

After the Chief Elections Officer, Keith Lowenfield presented to the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM)

a report containing fraudulent figures, the OAS in a statement outlined that

“there is no justification for his actions.”

“As indicated in our statement in July 10, this confirms that the CEO is acting in bad faith

and contrary to the interest of democracy in Guyana,” the OAS said.

Senior Counsel Ralph Ramkarran has accused Chief Election Officer (CEO) Keith Lowenfield of distorting the impact of the ruling of the Caribbean Court of Justice (CCJ) on the national recount as part of an effort to avoid complying with his legal obligations.

In his column in today’s Sunday Stabroek, under the title “Lowenfield’s weird mumbo jumbo,” Ramkarran suggests that Lowenfield has engaged in “willful defiance and gross insubordination” in failing to submit a final election report as directed by the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) Chair Claudette Singh.

Following the CCJ’s ruling, Lowenfield was asked to submit the report on the results of the election by 2pm on Friday using the votes certified by the national recount process. It was the second time he was asked to submit a report in wake of the results certified in the recount, the credibility of which he has questioned. However, he did not meet his deadline and instead submitted queries to Singh for guidance on preparing the report.
