An Indian court has set an execution date for four men convicted of the 2012

gang-rape and murder of a student in the capital, Delhi.

Akshay Thakur, Vinay Sharma, Pawan Gupta and Mukesh Singh

were sentenced to death by a fast-track court in 2013.

India rarely carries out death sentences - only four other people have been executed since 2004.

The last man to be executed was Yakub Memon, who was convicted of financing the deadly 1993 Mumbai bombings.

He was hanged in 2015.

The above 4 will be hanged on January 22nd 2020

SerenaThis batting performance by the West Indies in the second innings blew me away. I kept closing my eyes and then rubbing and opening them again and sat transfixed as I watch that unbelievable partnership between John Campbell and Shai Hope. What a magnificent performance by these two! It just goes to show that patience, determination and effort can go a long way to improve the performances of the West Indies team.
