Hmmm... From where I am, I don't know of any Islamic school. Although I might be wrong, since most Muslims here are on the other side of my country and I haven't been there. There's lots of Catholic and Chinese schools from where I am, but not an Islamic school I know of.
For me, it's better if religion is taught outside of school. I would rather have my child enrolled in a non secular school. This way, we, the parents, can teach them about our religion or enrol them in religious organisations.

I would equate Islamic schools with special needs schools . Eg schools for the handicap
