Haha!!  ..... Yep !!  Captain Cook is a keen musician .......

As a boy was a chorister at St. Paul's Cathedral, learned to play clarinet aged eight and when he went to Bedford School took up the piano and saxophone.

I always believe that Bradman is highly overrated, just because of his high test batting average. There were better batsmen... but they failed to get the attention. On the other hand, Cook is one of the top test batsmen in the world currently.

Like who? He's by miles the best all time great batsman. Not just his test average, look at his first class average, it's head and shoulders above anyone else of any era. Probably the bowlers post Bradman era (as in the WI golden age, Pakistani bowlers) were probably better, but Bradman faced some pretty darn good bowling.  Larwood, Voce, and Bedser to name a few, whose figures got a bit inflated since they played vs Bradman.  Not to forget lack of helmets, uncovered pitches, etc.

So yeah, putting that average into context even further confirms the point why Don's the king.

Cook is one of the top bats in the world at the moment but he is behind the likes of Amla and Clarke. In terms of natural ability he is well behind the likes of Lara, Ponting and Tendulkar. Cook's best attribute is his brain.
