Last night at the Air Canada Center in Toronto fans of the Toronto Raptors were left standing in line in freezing subzero temperatures so security could follow the commands of the U.S. NBA headquarters and wand check all patrons one at a time in a search for illegal weapons!

very big deal...when a sports organisation from another country...can get a country to alter their laws jess like that..not even to the parliament where stuff like that should go first..then it is a very big thing..a huge thing :o :o :o :o

canadian seach laws, gun laws etc were passed by canadian parliaments provinvial and federal.

skunt Obrien from the NBA can pass decrees in america and they legal in canada too..if they legal in the USA in the first place?

ane this decree can subject sovereign canadians to privation and severe discomfort..just on the say so of a skunt basketball commissioner.

it is indeed a huge thing...a monstrous thing

i waited in line for the game like everyone else to be checked out.

i prefer prevention better than cure.

#9
have it your waybut thats not the canadian way.  and it is against canadian law.

canadian law must apply in canada and no basketball commissioner sitting in new york shoud have veto power over it
