the new bb has a virtual keyboard that mimics the physical one exactly.

the problem is that there are not that many ppl who want a physical keyboard in the business world.

in my office we have the execs walking around with Ipads...not even Iphone...but their Ipads for work and prefer it to their blackberry.

I dont know what ppl were expecting from BB, but i hope they didnt expect any new functionality...

That's the Z10 "smartphone" model.  The Q10 still has the physical keyboard but has the new BB10 OS.

The BlackBerry Z10, a touchscreen model, will be the first to hit the shelves while the BlackBerry Q10, which will have a physical keyboard, will follow in April — a move that was signalled last year by the company.

the only thing RIMM has going for them is the software and servers
the should sell patents

and close shop

but nobody cares about another physcial phone keyboard

that will get buried in the pile.

everyone wants what the competitor has to be in BB.

the only thing ihavent heard anyone talkabout is the battery life??????

The new BB10 OS is remarkably similar to the OS on the Playbook tablet.  But I have to agree with Cappo in that there is nothing really innovative here with the BB10.  RIMM is just playing catch up to the big boys.  But as always, the market will decide the fate of the BB10.
