Boil salt fish and drain , do this twice to get rid most of the salt . boil potatoes until tender.
Mash potatoes and shred salt fish and combine , now add one eggwhite , purried wiri wiri pepper, onions, green onions and chopped cilantro or parsley , add and mixed well some ground ground black pepper and roasted gera, taste mixture and adjust seasoning, form fish cakes into approriate shapes and heat oil to 375 degrees , coat each fish cake in flour and deep fry, this is my take.

So Kwami, my recipe's the same as yours, except that i use the entire eggs (why do you only use the whites) and i dont put geerah in the fish cake mixture, i put in it in the accompanying sauce.
