Don’t blame casino lobbyists for leading Toronto city councillors into temptation — history shows they’re quite capable of finding it on their own. The latest example is the unfortunate case of Councillor Ana Bailao. She was charged with impaired driving last week just hours after socializing at a trendy hotel lounge in the company of a prominent casino lobbyist.

Apart from her stupidity, it's raising some serious ethical issues.  Apparently she was being whined and dined by these lobbyist to vote in favour of the proposed casino.  City business should be discussed at city hall or in other public forums, not in the backrooms and hotels with guys who are carrying around briefcases full of cash.  She rass gon pay up good to get off this charge tho.
