iPad Mini prices:

16GB is the smallest configuration with WiFi, priced at $329.

32GB mini is $429, 64GB for $519. $130 each additional for LTE connectivity.                                                 

iPad 2 stays around, starting at $399.

On the other hand, the Google Nexus 7 is $200.  As always, the market will decide the winners and the losers here.

You're not alone Googs.  Lots of people are PISSED that Apple has phased out the iPad 3 a mere 7 months after launch!!!  It's now obsolete!! 

Also, the specs on the ipad mini aren't that great for a $329 tablet especially the lack of retina display.

But given their fanatic and loyal following our Chinese factory workers will be working double overtime to get all these new Apple products to us here in North America before Christmas. ::lol::
